Online Safety
UK Safer Internet Centre
As a parent or caregiver, you play a vital role in helping your child stay safe online. You don’t need to be an expert to protect your child on the internet. These resources from the UK Safer Internet Centre are designed to support you as you guide your child in using the internet safely, responsibly, and positively.
Teaching Online Safety
At Causeway Green Primary we revise the SMART message in each of our Computing lessons, during online safety week and Internet Safety Day. We understand the importance of staying safe online and being a responsible user. For a copy of the poster see the downloads at the bottom of the page.
CEOP
The internet is a wonderful and exciting place, so we must teach our children about staying safe online and how to use it responsibly. Follow the links below to the dedicated pages for 4-7-year-olds and 8-10-year-olds.
CEOP helps keep children and young people safe from abuse and grooming online. They help thousands of children and young people every year, as well as their parents and carers who have been in a similar situation. CEOP are unable to respond to reports about bullying, fake accounts or account hacking.
If you are worried about online abuse or the way someone has been communicating with you online, then make a report to one of CEOP's Child Protection Advisors
